How has The Great Fish been present in your life? Has it proved challenging to your faith?
How has it served as a metaphor, as it did for Jesus? (see Mt. 12.38-41)
Closing Prayer: Wesley Covenant Prayer
I am no longer my own, but yours.
Put me to what you will, rank me with whom you will.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed for you or laid aside for you,
exalted for you or brought low for you.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things to your pleasure and glory.
And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
You are mine, and I am yours.
So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
let it be ratified in heaven.

- “The Lord arranged” – how does this line catch your soul? How has God arranged a gracious path for you when you were sinking down, or thought there was no hope?
- Read Eph 4.14-19 – how does this prayer speak to those moments when you think you are far from God? How does it speak to us about others?
- Jonah experiences Solitude, Silence, and Suffering . . . God uses these gifts in his life to awaken him and turn his eyes back to God’s ambitions. How has God used Solitude, Silence, and Suffering to turn your eyes back to Him?
