God gives us abilities and gifts that allow us to make a difference. There are many ways you can serve within our local church family and in our community. Below are a few current opportunities, but if you have an idea, we'd love to hear from you. CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
HOME VISITOR
Make monthly visits to one of our friends who are unable to attend in-person church.
LIVE STREAM TECH VOLUNTEER
Operate cameras, run sound or direct video for our weekly live stream services.
OFFICE VOLUNTEER
Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist staff with various projects and general administrative needs.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
iN-PERSON SERVICE DOOR GREETER
Welcome guests to the church and help with check-in or handing out coffee and donuts, etc.
SLIDE OPERATOR
Operate the slideshow during Sunday morning services, including lyrics, videos, scriptures and more.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Capture moments and help tell our stories with photography. No experience is necessary, and training is available.
Kids & Students
PRESCHOOL CLASS HELPER
Help teach and lead activities with preschool-aged kids in either the 2- and 3-year-old class or the 4- and 5-year-old class during the 9 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. services.
NURSERY
Ensure that kids under 2 have a safe and fun environment to be in on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 a.m. service. Must love kids & be able to hold/lift babies.
STUDENT GREETER OR GROUP LEADER
Hang out with, encourage, lead a small group, or help mentor middle and high school students on Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings.
WEEKDAY
OFFICE ASSISTANT
Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist staff with various projects and general administrative needs. Multiple shifts available.
FLOURISH FOOD PANTRY
Help greet and support guest visiting the Flourish Food Pantry at Schweitzer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
CARING HEARTS
SNAIL MAIL MINISTRY
Make or send encouraging cards to the homebound, ill, or anyone experiencing tough times.
GREEN TEAM
Adopt a landscaped garden around our church campus and keep it looking throughout the year.
