We know it's often difficult to know what next step to take when attending a new church.
This page is dedicated to some great next steps. If you have any questions, reach out to Shoji McGhee, Director of Connections, at 417-881-6800 or shoji@schweitzer.church.

Sign up for the schweitzer e-news and pastor's Note
Each week, we send a newsletter (called the Schweitzer E-News), which features information about upcoming events, groups and classes, and recent photos from around campus. Also, each week, we send a letter from Pastor Spencer or one of our other pastors with more important information regarding the life of the church.
COFFEE WITH THE PASTORS
GROUP & CLASSES
Once a month we host Coffee with the Pastors at 10 a.m. in the Schweitzer Lounge (up the ramp from the Sanctuary). This is a great first step in getting to know more about the church. You'll meet our Pastoral staff, take a campus tour and have time to ask questions.
Schweitzer has many ongoing groups and classes that can help you connect with others and dive deeper into your faith.
If you aren't sure about being part of an ongoing group, check out our Upcoming Events Calendar for additional opportunities.

ADULT & INFANT BAPTISM
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
If you would like to know more about baptism for yourself or infant baptism for your child, we would love to talk with you.
Baptism is a symbol of the new covenant of grace as circumcision was the symbol of the old covenant. Water baptism signifies acceptance of the benefits of the atonement of Jesus Christ to be administered to believers as declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.
Since infants are recognized as being included in the atonement, they may be baptized upon the request of parents or guardians.

We invite anyone interested in becoming a member of Schweitzer Church to first talk with someone from our pastoral team to learn more.
