Pittman Parntership
One way we care for our community is by supporting the students, teachers and staff at Pittman Elementary. During the school year we hold school supply drives, host a Christmas market and encourage people to get involved as reading buddies or as mentor as part of our new grandparenting minstry (GPS) - which provides a free Parent's Night Out for Pittman Students each month. GPS: PARENTS NIGHT OUT
Each month we will host a free parents night out for kids who attend Pittman Elementary. Our next PNO is on Thursday, October 10. Please register below to let us know you are coming, this helps us have enough food and supplies for activities.
BACK TO SCHOOL
For the 2024-25 school year, the people of Schweitzer Church donated supplies for all students at Pittman Elementary. These bags were given to 250 students in August on back-to-school night.

READING BUDDIES
Several individuals from Schweitzer serve as Reading Buddies throughout the year. Additionally, we seek out ways to encourage the teachers and staff. Sylvia Speight (pictured left) and Cheryll Moll help with coordination of projects and the Reading Buddies.
